The original Trail's End Rocker is built from mahogany with hand-carved big horn sheep heads at the end of the armrests. The seat is laminated from a 2" thick mahogany plank that is hand-contoured into smooth, comfortable curves. The centered design motif is laminated in contrasting woods. Rockers are expertly balanced and elegantly joined to the chair's curved legs. The back is made from deer hide with the hair side out, upholstered and laminated to cowhide; attaching straps are secured with hand-made buttons of woven leather and deer antler. The back is buckled onto the chair frame to create an adjustable, comfortable and durable support.

The Trail's End Rocker earned the Best Woodworking Craftsmanship award at the Western Design Conference 2000 show in Cody, Wyoming.
